SOURCE: i have transmission fluid leaking

Hmmmm, The tube running to the firewall may just be an elevated vent for the trans, but it should noyt vent into the passenger compartment. Are you sure it isn't brake fluid? Brake fluid is used for the clutch as well as brakes. if either brake or clutch cylinders leak it would or could be possible the fluid will enter through the firewall and run down the nearest thing.. Ck that out, you can tell by smell which it is. brake fluid will wash off with water, gear oil will not. good luck

When you put the clutch in the brake goes in to

You're going to have to sit in there with your head on the floor and feet on the seat and look under the dash and the clutch and brake pedals.
Last time I was under a ford dash there was a large pin welded in the middle of a bracket. half the pin in the inside of the braket was where the brake pedal hung from and the half on the outside was where the clutch hung from. The pedals are suposed to have bushings in them. Perhaps a pedal froze on that pin and the pin broke free from the bracket.

You're going to have to look to know for sure.

Had my clutch changed 4mths ago, everything was fine... pedal for clutch sometimes feels a bit sticky to floor, goes into gear ok and clutch seems fine, could this be air in in the pipe?

POSSIBLE AIR IN HYDRAUIC LINE BLEED THE VALVE KEEPING AN EYE ON FLUID IT HAS A VERY SMALL RESEVOIR. OR CHECK PEDAL RETURN SPRING MIGHT HAVE LOST TENSION.

Ford focas all disks and pads /rear shoes are new changed disks /pads today but pedal still goes to floor pedal is hard until you start engine

The problem is likely either the brake booster which is vacuum powered or the brake master cylinder -- brake booster would be leaking air, master cylinder would be leaking fluid by the O-ring on the piston (internally "leaking by").

This sounds more like a booster failure since the pedal gets soft when engine is started. But probably a good idea to replace both at the same time.

More info, please let me know.

No pressure clutch pedal goes straight to the floor 1988 holden r

If hydraulic actuated mechanism, loss of fluid, defective master cylinder or slave cylinder at the clutch. Missing pin or other part between slave cylinder and clutch arm. Loose or broken slave cylinder mounting. Missing pin or broken part between pedal and master cylinder. If mechanical linkage, look for broken components or missing pins at moving joints. If you tried to shift into gear with engine running, you may have damaged the transmission gears.
