That red fluid is power steering fluid. You may not have lost enough yet to register but you will. You need to determine whether it's leaking from a cracked hose (which I've seen on Toyota products), or from the steering rack itself, and from there the course of repair can be determined.

Hi kelly4578,
Your Air/Fuel Ratio sensor is failing. It is also called the Bank One sensor. The sensor itself is about $200 from a parts distributor and somewhat more than that at a Lexus parts department. Labor to remove the old sensor and replace it with the new one will also run you several hundred dollars.
If you're mechanically inclined, you can tackle this repair yourself. But you must first determine the exact location of the failed sensor. And be careful not to strip the threads in the manifold when you remove the old sensor.
Let me know if this helps and please rate this solution. lone99star

SOURCE: hesistaton at idle speed. how many ignition coils are used in a 98 lexus es300?
I looked it up on AutoZone.com and it looks like there is only one coil. You can verify that by giving them a call. However, to me it sounds like you might be having a problem with your idle air control valve. Since you are only having problems when the vehicle is at idle I would take a look at your IAC. It is located on the throttle body and is usually held on by two screws. When the IAC starts to go bad you will have problems with the vehicle when idling. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for rating my response and for using FixYa!
