Hyundai Santa Fe (2011; diesel; automatic) will not start sometimes. Help, please.

If the starter is dragging from abusive hard starts, starter damage is possible.....If cranking speed is below 9 RPMs a Diesel will not start.....Also there must be a pre-heat or Glo-Plug function for cold starts....Check Glo-Plug Relay and Glo-Plug connections....Theses connections are hi-amp and must be tight......A last resort for cold starting is the use of Starting Fluid or Either.....Locate the Air Intake Box (Where the Air Filter is Housed).....Lightly Fog the Intake housing with the Starting Fluid and try cranking the engine.....Do this quickly or the Starting Fluid will evaporate before entering the Engine......Be careful not to over spray due to a hydro-lock and explosion hazard.....Do not over heat the starter, let it rest a minute then repeat spraying the air box procedure.......Be careful not to over work the starter...........

1995 the car doesn't want to start at all it kicks over but won't start for the past week it was kicking it was starting but now I just don't want to start all. I used to turn the key 3 times to start

Sounds like the fuel pump has failed, it is located inside the fuel tank. To test this theory get a spray can of starting fluid from the hardware store and spray it into the air intake of the engine, if it starts and then stall out you have no fuel reaching the engine.

Car always needs a jump start, battery good,2003 tracker, even with every day warm ups

You need to have a load test done on that battery Esther. The only other thing would be if your tracker would have a 12 volt drain.

1999 ford ranger 3.0 heater wont get hot. blend door is working. truck blows whatever the air temp is out side with heater on hot.

That means either you have a vapour lock, your water pump has failed, or your thermostat isn't opening. It is not easy for a non-mechanic to put coolant into a vehicle... more often than not you get a vapour lock. Sometimes this happens if you don't check your overflow bottle daily, (or weekly). If you have no habit of checking your tires, your oil, your brake fluid, your signals, transmission fluid etc then it is easy for you to neglect your overflow bottle. If the coolant gets all the way to the bottom then your radiator will start emptying daily into your overflow bottle and causing you problems.

Brake light - 2000 Volkswagon Golf

Low fluid level in master cylinder reservoir can also illuminate the cluster brake light. If the level is low, refill and check for leaks.

Failure to start. then will start next day. Mazda said it was fuel pump. They replaced $790.00. did not resolve problem. they kept 2 days and said it was battery. Replaced. @ weeks later same problem.

Well, they probably did put on either a bad fuel pump or should've done the relay. There is also a fuel pump REGULATOR that can cause a lot of trouble. Make them keep at it,since their work should be warranteed when they say they've fixed it. don-ohio

2001 S-10 4.3 Vortec trouble starting after 3 days of sitting

I would start with the fuel filter, then the fuel pressure regulator. If those two are not the source of the problem you may also find the issue in the idle air speed solenoid. A couple of other places you can look is the air filter, the mass air flow sensor, or actually just cleaning the throttle bore. Hope this helps, good luck!
