Cooling fans run nonstop

Check water temp sensors and fan relays for correct operation. It is not a big problem if the engine is running but it will flatten the battery if the engine is shut down for a period of time.

Once the engine is warmed up (temperature gauge in normal range), the cooling fans begin operating at high speed and never shut off until ignition turned off. Fans never run after ignition turned off.

It sounds like the cooling fan relays are latching on. The contacts are probably partially welded and sticking closed so hard the recoil spring to pull them open again is too weak to do so. Change the relay(s).

96 Dodge Runs fine but after warms up it dies, cools n will crank n run good then dies again after warming up.

Hey Dennis,, DON"T BECOME A PARTS REPLACER..(some people who "call themselves mechanic's" are just that!),.. .take this Dodge to a qualified professional... talk to them..
You say warm... do you mean full running temp?? .if so, you may be experiencing a vapor lock,, fuel "boils" when the engine is hot.. when it cools its no longer hot enough to cause this..(S.W.A.G.)

Air flow will not get hot. Only warm, about 67 degrees is all. Have replaced thermostat. Fan motor operates fine, just temp sensor seems to have no effect.

Hello! The heater core is partially blocked...I would suggest flushing the cooling system with the temperature control on high...NOTE...The type of anti-freeze used in your vehicle is DexCool...If another type is used it may damage the cooling system...To flush...Drain radiator...Fill with plain water...Run engine until thermostat opens...Turn engine off...Let cool then drain...Do this at least three times or until water drains clear...Install new thermostat...Refill with 50/50 DexCool...Leave the radiator cap off as engine warms...Allow all air bubbles to escape...Then install cap...

The down side of DexCool is electrolysis...Electrical current flowing in the cooling system which can cause the anti-freeze to "clump" blocking its flow...Periodic flushing eliminates the problem...

My 1999 Cherokee Limited, 4.0 liter automatic stumbles and/or hesitates at tip in after you first start it when warm. It acts like an engine with a carb that has a bad or improperly adjusted accelerator...

Could you explain this a little better , hesitates at tip in after you first start it when warm > hesitates at tip in ???? plus after first you first start it when warm . What's warm ? the engine ? The temperature out side ? Or after you had it running an shut it off an restart the vehicle ? The engine temp. is warm , hot etc.... cooling fans working , vapor lock ?

Runs fine til the temp out gets hot enough then dies. Wait ten mins and it will start again and run for a few mins then dies again

you didn't say if it was hot on the temp gauge? no matter, it sounds like you have a stuck t-stat. when the engine is cold, a mechanical valve keeps the water from coming out of the engine block until warmed up, then opens and lts the cooler water in. this cools down the engine and the colder temp of the water shuts the valve again. this happens constantly while the engine runs, and if your t-stat is stuck, the engine heats up the water in the block, but with nowhere to go, simply overheats the motor. a good repair book will locate the thermostat housing for you and should you the repair procedure. (i assume you have checked the water in the rad. low water will give you same symptoms). good luck.

Is there a thermostat shut off switch . car runs

The amount that it gets hot is a clue but theres no shut off switch. It's possible that the car is over heating and the temp gauge does'nt have enought water over it to report the problem. once the cooling system is cleared as it's full circulating and the fan will come on when it's hot ( disconnect the temp. switch on the therostate cover on the top of the transmission, ( the stat is in the lower hose ) with it disconnected and the key on the fan should be on and connected f till it's real hot. The crank senser or distrubutor module can can too hot and shut down too

Ford mondeo mk3, intermitent dumping of water from cooing system, found crack in header tank, changed same, ran car at idle, temp guage at normal & heater blowing hot , took car for run , temp guage off...

You may have an air pocket in your system which some times happens.  One way to get rid of it is to take the upper hose off on the engine side,  fill your system with water until it runs out from your engine block, replace the hose, start your car turn you heater on and set to hi keep the radiator cap loose until the temp start to rise then close tight.  Once the air pocket had been remover you can drain some of the water from the radiator using the lower drain plug and add antifreeze.
