We broke the latch, and we can see an opening that is may be for a key or more likely a lever. The compartment itself is never lock, but now without a latch or lever, we can't open the door. Please help.
If you look under glove box you will see two to four screws that hold the glove box on. Take out the screws and the glove box will drop down and you can get inside and release latch..then you can get a replacement latch and replace.
