Hello. It seems either the torque converter; if your vehicle has an automatic transmission or clutch; if your vehicle has a manual transmission are defective/malfunctioning. Torque converters and/clutches will cause 'jerking' while driving and 'stalling' the engine when slowing/stopping the vehicle because they won't engage/disengage like they are supposed to. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.

Can you give me any more information please? Were you driving when the vehicle died? How did you determine that there was no spark?

sounds like the coil pack is braking down when hot. check for spark while engine wont start

I have seen corrosion problems inside the coil end of coil wires on slightly older Mazdas. not sure if yours has a distributor or not, but if it does, this type of corrosion could be overheating the coil. would suggest if applicable, replacing both the coil, and the spark plug wires.

Could be an electrical part that only fails after getting really hot. Coils and ignition modules are known for this. Unfortunately, these parts cannot be tested for this heat-soak type problems, other than to see if spark quality at the plugs has degraded when failing. One other thought. A bad gas cap which is not allowing air to flow in as gas is used can cause this and that is a cheap part to replace just for grins.

I have a problem with the mazda etude 160ise, the crank shaft sensor was damages and replaced it ad now the car cant tart. Note that the timing was afected in that the two sealings were replaced. Could one please provide information as to how I can get in timing and get it going again.

the crank shaft sensor is bad, it is heating up, and that is why it works after the water being poured on it, it is cooling it off.....
