I have a 91 plymouth colt, changing the brakes and the pads i got will not fit. it is a 91 hatchback with the 1.5, its a 4 speed and not awd. I have went to multiple auto stores and they always give me the...

I'm including a link to RockAuto listing for brake pads for 1991 Plymouth Colt. Look down in the 'economy' (orange) section, and you will see a lot of listings. Many have -535 part number, but some have -299 and -602. These state they're for Colts built in Japan. Check inside the driver's door and see where your car was built. There's also references to LA model and GL model, so see if yours is one of these.

Battery size for 1994 dodge colt

Just as a general rule of thumb, I don't buy a battery with less than 700 CCA (cold cranking amps). Depending on where you live, it may need to be more or less. Check your old battery (if you have it) and see how many CCA it has.

Electrical failure

The distributor cap and rotor will not make the electrical system work. It's a round black thing with pencil size wires running out of it, one goes to each spark plug. You might check the fusible link by the battery, the battery terminals etc. Check to see (when the ignition switch is off) if when you remove a battery cable and retouch it to the post that you get a tiny spark. If so, you have a short somewhere in your electrical system, and that will have to be fixed before you do anything else.
