Jeep is dying out when you hit a bump in road it starts but runs real rough and backfires 0nce in a while then dies again restarts everytime

change the coil wire . it sounds like it wasn't manufactured properly

I would start with fuel filter.

Check the fuel pressure

check ur distributer cap

you did replace computer also, the engine you put in will need the computer for it,also get all connections.

check the wires to the fuel pump if they have rubbed against something and the insulation wore through hitting bumps or rain could cause it to short and kick the relay and resets again and will start

You need to check the fuel pressure, if not enough it will run rough.

does your jeep run rough? idle is real low? and when you are driving and push the gas hard it doesnt want to move? if so it is most likely the mass air flow sensor. i had to replace that 2 or 3 times on my 1999 jeep cherokee
