Take the alternator to an accredited auto electrician for a bench test
they are fairly robust but if it has an internal regulator , some circuit may have cracked or the brushes may be damaged or a terminal insulation could be dislodged.

New alternator, battery, starter but battery dies overnight and hard too boost shop tested battery and alternator both check good???

If a good battery is losing charge overnight then it is probably being drained by something left on! The usual areas to look at would be the boot light or glovebox light, check these or anything that might be staying on when the ignition is turned off!

Why does my battery light stay on

Most likely because your alternator is not charging , the circuit of a vehicle is designed to show the battery light on if this fault occurs, your local garage can test this quite easily. you will possibly find the car will fail to start soon as the battery is exhausted.

The battery won't stay charged

Hi it is possible that you Alternator is faulty,if you have access to a VoltMeter ,check the battery voltage in the morning before you try to start it you should have around 12.7 volts for a charged battery if not fully charge your battery again and check the voltage with your car running you should have around 14 volts with the engine reving at 1500 revs.ifyou get around 12 volts then your lights are taking more power from the battery than the Alternator can replace. You could also get your local garage to Drop Test your battery to see if any of the Cells are faulty

How do I adjust the headlights?

I think your car has adjusting screws around the light housing. First find a level garage floor or somewhere with a level floor. If you can, stop the car about ten feet from the wall. Cut strips of black electrical tape. Put one piece in a horizontal position across the center of the light. It should be parralell to the floor. Take another piece of tape and locate it in the center or the light so it is perpendicular to the floor. Repeat on other lens. Turn out all room lights and turn on the head lights. Using the adjusting screws around the headlight (usually 3) raise or lower as needed. When I worked in a garage in the sixties the lens on car were close to the same and we had a level with a suction cup that could be attached to the lens face. The lights today vary a lot from car to car so the tape is a pretty good alternative. That or take the car to a garage. Good luck. I just did my 2002 Grand Prix because I replaced the cloudy lens housings and it took me three times to get it right but when I work for my self I'm working for free.

Battery drans even after being on charger all night. new battery and alternator. went though fuses and all ok there. dont know what it could be

Something is staying on after the car is turned off. Try putting in a dark garage and check interior lights, glove box, under hood light, etc. Also keep in mind even new parts can be defective.

91 Buick Century 2.5 L brake light on & battery light on

For the Brake light to stay on and the fluid is up...sounds like your sensor is playing dead......

For the battery to die after only (4) hours..you have a very big drain on the battery itself.....without the vehicle right here to look at would be very hard to even guess...electrical problems are a hands on chore...

I'd take it to your garage/mechainc

New alternator (actually 2 new) no charge

Find a friend with a heated garage that you can use first off, then locate the short that may be causing all this. Unless you have a bad battery? If its more than 3 years old, replace it. Batterys are cheap. WALMART has em under 89 bucks for most vehicles.
