Yes, the best way to determine if you've blown a head gasket, it to use the diagnos # 4 gas analyser or smog test analyser- (the tube that goes up the tail pipe), place the wand near the radiator. if the wand reads finds CO in the cooling system ,100% blown head gasket

Would not gaping the spark plugs properly cause fuel to come out of the tailpipe?

Possible, but it would be a rough engine spin.
Check the fuel level in the carb, or the fuel pressure from the pump as well.

2003 lincoln aviator/how do you know if there's motor damage

Your car shouldn't have just suddenly started burning oil. Its possible it's leaking in the engine compartment and the leak is dripping onto the hot exhaust manifold and the. The smoke is blowing out the back as you drive. I would think it's unlikely that the engine has been damaged since the check-engine light should have come on if the oil level was low enough to cause damage.

If hii find that bluish smoke is coming from the exhaust pipes, then the next thing to check is whether it smokes on acceleration or deceleration. If the latter, it may be just a valve issue. If it smokes a lot on startup, then it may be rings.

04 chevy impala has white smoke coming from the exhaust but no leaking

white smoke is caused by water or coolant entering cylinders, if in over flow it will look like a chocolate milk shake. check on oil dipstick to see if you can see traces of water or anti - freeze in the oil. if you see white smoke coming from tail pipe that smoke means that your car has a leaking cylinder-head gasket or a cracked head gasket. If there is just a leak in the gasket, the problem should be relatively easy and inexpensive to fix, but if the problem is a cracked head gasket, chances are the repair will be a lot more complicated and expensive. If the problem is a leaking head-gasket cylinder you will see white smoke, because the faulty gasket is allowing air and fuel to enter the cooling system. As this mixture burns, white smoke is produced and exits through your tailpipe. If you are familiar with the location of the cylinder head gasket you can check it yourself, otherwise take the car to your mechanic and ask him to check the gasket for damage. may not be but just check it out! if its water or anti-freeze, you will smell a sweet smell coming from tailpipe. good-day ! most of the costs today are labor which is very expensive.

I started the car and saw white smoke everywhere, it dumped a lot of what looked like transmission fluid, what happened?

White smoke is usually antifreeze, There is now a red color antifreeze, maybe that is what you are seeing.. Pressure test the cooling system and resolve what that test reveals.
