Where is the crank senser located on the engine of ford taurus

It is one of two things. Crank shaft sensor, on timing cover, behind crank pulley. Or the camshaft syncronizer, or the camshaft sensor (sits on top of Camshaft syncronizer) Located on drivers side end of engine, in what used to be the home of the old type distributor.

There is a hesitation like the car wants to stop and a red light but no codes come up?

if your not getting a fault code best thing is to start changeing the cheepest first id start with the crank angle senser there very common to go down and will stop the engine from running

Im trying to find the location of the crank shaft position sensor for a 2002 ford taurus. Im wanting to replace it myslef.

Hi you will find the crank shaft sensor on the passenger side of the engine on the back side right behind the harmonic balancer.
If you remove the front tire and the plastic splash shield you will be able to locate it easier. Hope this helped happy motoring

I can't find the camshaft senser on my 1997 ford taurus G?

its at the back of the engine
goes through the lower intake
look for the thermostat and you'll find it nearby

looks like a broken and capped distributor shaft

Location of cam senser on 2000 taurua. is it hard to change

The cam position sensor is located on the drivers side. The intake manifold is cut out where it sits on top of the engine block.it is black in color and has 2 5.5 mm screws that you will be able to see .

Service engine code co senser!! Do I replace senser front of catalitic converter and to the rear of converter or just the rear senser

depends on what they told you upstream sensor or down stream sensor if you are not sure do them both.

Where is the horn at on a 2006 ford taurus

Iside the front fender on the driver side, Plastic cover ahead of the front tire and its up in there. There is an airbag senser in there too don't knock it hard or you'll set off the airbag.
