you should never need to change the fuel filter. i would only change it if you have a fuel pump go out. it is under the rear seat just for your information.
Change plugs, air filter and fuel filter. Computer controls all the timing and such. Depending on mileage ( over 100,000) the timing belt needs to be changed.
pull the fuel pump fuse out and try to start car to relieve pressure,once that is done and the car won't start,you can remove filter,once replaced turn on ignition for 3 seconds to prime fuel system
