I have an 2005 AUDI A4 Quattro 1.8t and my power windows and sunroof stopped working. What controls these things? I have checked all the fuses, but can't find anything wrong.

Can't get much clearer than this. Relay 4 is one plus 'Additional Relays 23 and 24. Plus fuse 23 and 24.

Check fuse number 14. You have not told us model year so I am just guessing from experience on other models.

Sounds like you have a bad switch

Well, don't get nervous. Having to play with the switch and having eventually close the window is a good thing. Go to the aoto psrts store and pick up some silicone spray lubricant.Open the sunroof and spay everything you can see. AAny Tracks, guides. etc. close the window so its only about 3/4 shut and spray yje newly expose tracks and whatever else that has come into view. See how that does asyou run the window through several open and close cycles. Those sunroof motors sre not very powerful and the least bit of resistance works them hard. Good Luck -Ned_

Check the underhood relays. Wiggle each one and see what happens. Check all the fuses that pertain to these operations also.

when you pull the fuse door of there is sometimes a diagram on the door itself, if not then check the owners manual. if neither of those then get yourself a chiltons manual

check switch and motor.

I would definitely check the fuse panel (left side of the dash next to the driver's door). Inside the panel should be a list of fuse locations and ratings. Do you have an owner's manual? It should have the list, too. If this is not the problem, please post a comment here!
