I hear clunking in the rear I had other work done to it couple of years ago. The mechanic I think had mentioned that I need a pin for the stabilizer bar. I'm not for sure if that's what he said.

When I go over bumps it makes this sound I want to sell it and don't want to put any more money then I have to. I just want to take care of whatever is clunking around in the rear before I do.

It's your rear stabilizer bar END LINKS. Very cheap and very easy to replace. Common problem for these. You can get cheap ones online for $10 and good greaseable ones for $20+.

Testimonial: "Awesome I believe when I was under my trunk I seen them they're on each side of the sway bar. Two bolts with an arm that connects them. They're a smaller size in the front correct?"

Yes, you are correct. Will be a nut on the end of each threaded head. Typically stock ones have a allen wrench type hole in the middle of the thread so the whole thing doesn't turn. Picture is a generic pic, not exact for your TB. My 06 does have the allen wrench hole, however, my 02 TB does not. IF not, you can use channel locks to hold onto the end if it starts to turn. Pretty easy.

There is one in front and back. The front is much bigger in diameter than the rear(weight). They both serve the same purpose. When you remove the links and the sway bar just falls/sloppy. You should replace the sway bar frame bushings also.

That go on each side of the of the sway bar I also seen an image of just one bolt wher would that single bolt be located ?"

Have a 2008 Maxima SE-all interior lights and trunk lights stopped working over a year ago (dashboard lights work).Replaced fuses a couple of times, works for a day or so and the goes out. Mechanic do

You seem to have a short in that fused system. Think back to when this problem started, did you have some work done such as a new radio, or a power antenna, or maybe speakers. If this brings something to mind those items should be checked. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

Clunk In Rear When I Turn

I would expect to find a ball joint, upper strut mount, or control arm bushing to be bad rather than the axle joints. Usually if a CV joint is going you hear a clicking noise as the wheel is turning not just one clunk. One clunk usually means something is shifting.

2005 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.3L, hear clunking near right side of vehicle while in drivers seat facing forward. More pronounced over bumps, large or small as if something is not mated properly or...

check the stabilizer bar bushings and the stabilizer bar links. They are very common to wear out and cause clunks over bumps. In an open area and just barely moving turn the wheel to the left and right fast and far enough to get the whole vehicle rocking back and forth. If you hear it under these conditions than it is 99% of the time either the links or the bushings.

My 2005 Jeep Wrangler has a "rotating" clunking noise in the rear when braking. Have had a defective rotar turned, the brakes checked, the drive train checked, the ujoints checked and the problem stops...

when you say you had a defective rotor turned do you mean it was skimmed due to warping.if so, skimming is not any good for a warped rotor, replace both sides with new asap,or the vibration will cause bushes to fail at worst.
warped rotors are the bain of all modern cars as makers dont use ventilated types (too expensive)

Hearing clunk noises after going over bumps on the road..

Check the front struts ( shock absorber ) If original or very old, they are doing no good. Also check the front TORSION BAR rubber bushings. In low temps will groan and creak, on up and down motions.

1991 Oldsmobile 88 Royale loud clunk when turning??

Ball joint, tie rod end or upper strut bearing. CV joints? Pulling to the left may be an alignment problem with front or rear tires. Get a four wheel alignment.
