Why no oil pump through the oil filter

There's a pressure relief valve located at the oil pump outlet. Its purpose is to prevent very high pressures... It then pushes pressurized oil through the oil filter and into the engine. I would have that checked.

Where is oil sending unit located?

You're vehicle has two sensors for the oil,an oil pressure sensor switch & oil pressure sensor. If oil pressure gets below 6psi,the oil pressure sensor switch will turn a dash light on to let you know the pressure is at a dangerously low amount. So if you've got a dash light on,the pressure sensor switch needs to be replaced. Its located to the right of the oil filter housing,on a 2.0 liter. Its located to the left of the oil filter housing,on the 3.0 liter.
If your oil pressure gauge is reading inaccurately, you need to replace the oil pressure sensor instead. Its located near the ac compressor.

Where is the oil sending unit on a 1996 ford taurus 3.0 liter engine located? glenn

On 3.0L OHV engines, the oil pressure sensor is located on the left side of the engine block above the flywheel. On 3.0L DOHC engines the sensor is located on the left side of the engine block above the oil filter. On 3.4L DOHC engines the sensor is screwed into the oil filter adapter. The oil pressure sensor operates the oil pressure warning lamp.

Where is the oil filter and how do you chage it on the 2008 C300?

To start just pop off the front half of the plastic engine cover. The oil filter is located up front; it's the black circle on the right-center-front.

You should loosen the oil filter with the cup wrench before you start the extractor. That will let the filter drain completely and let the oil flow more freely.

Im needing to know where that camshaft sensor is located on a 96 jeep cherokee.

If you have a distributor with a cap and ignition wires on it, you don't have a "formal" cam sensor. Later models do. However you do have a pickup coil under the distributor breaker plate that pretty much serves the same purpose. The cam sensor on later models replaces the distributor ...on 4.0 engines it is right in front of the oil filter where the distributor was.
