Park brake switch may be on or the light may have come on because of low brake fluid in the master cylinder. There is a sensor in the reservoir and it turns on the same light as the park brake.

Chime Fuse for the emergency brake?

All questions need 'year make model', and please don't use 'text speak' abbreviations as it causes confusion to the more mature experts.

Generic Answer is 'No'! The reason is that functions like that are a function of the Body Control Module. If you disconnect that, nothing works. Fix the problem, don't try and find a way around it. In the old days, there were sounders, but now the BCM puts chimes though the vehicle audio system even if the radio is switched off!

Parking brake light comes on while driving battery

your parking brake has a switch. when you push your pedal it activates the switch .if your pedal is slack it would let the switch turn on without you even touching the pedal.
battery light going on and off while your driving would usually indicate that your alternator is not charging properly. or loose battery cable.

Parking Brake Light on constant without parking brake engaged

Check your brake fluid. The same light is used for the brake fluid level as well as the parking brake.

Park brake light stays on

Try setting the parking brake and place your car in drive and/or reverse. If you can move your car in either direction without any resistance, then you need to get the parking brake fixed. Your car should not be able to go in any direction with the parking brake set. Remember to take the parking brake off after you've checked it to continue driving.

Parking brake light stays on.

Do you have a separate parking brake light and a "regular" brake light? Most vehicles only have one light, it illuminates when the parking brake is set, but it also illuminates when the system detects a failure anywhere in the brake system.

You could have a separate light for the anti-lock brake system (ABS ).

Your description of a light that is on till you apply the brakes is usually a sign of some sort of system brake failure. Start with brake fluid level, then inspect the brakes at each wheel, looking for a leak.

If nothing detected there, then you likely have something more serious. (Master brake cyclinder bad, possible something in the ABS brakes, etc.)

Others may disagree, but I would suggest not driving the vehicle (except to a mechanic) until this is corrected.

Parking light brake light will not go off after power is engaged

no the P light ans system will always be on unless you command a drive or N funtion since there is no 'park' in the drive train only a mechanical brake. when running/on, when you put in drive it should acknoledge drive and P should unlock. if not you have trouble and need the dealer

ASL on cannot get into gear, and brake light are out

To get the car out of park you have to put the shifter right in between neutral and drive and as soon as the car starts put it in drive. Keep your foot on the brake obviously. You can go to Reversve once you get the car started and in DRive.

No brake lights and can,t get out of park after car is started

sounds like the PARK / BRAKE interlock solenoid is faulty. Located by the brake pedal. Electically will not allow driver to move shift handle out of PARK unless brake pedal is depressed, Brake light switch is near it

1995 Buick Park Ave. Brake light remains ON and chimes on driving

The problem is the car think the park brake is on (intermittently). I would check the park brake switch, perhaps it's loose, or perhaps the park brake is pushed down to the first "click" spot. Also check the wiring connection to the switch, and the wiring nearby. Good luck!
