Generally speaking, it means the engine computer has found a problem that could damage the engine or emissions, so it is restricting power output. The driver should have the engine computer checked for trouble codes next.

I'm thinking of lowering my 2004 grand prix GPT super charge. And I'll like to see how it will look before I do it.

Jack the back tire up on the lower control arm that should help you get close to that look

On My 2004 grand price gt, My reduced engine power comes on, it slows the car down as we're driving or it's already on when we start up the car. What could cause this issue?

I have an 2004 Grand Prix with 181,000 miles on it and recently got the Reduced Engine power light and codes p0068 and p0101 after searching the web I wound up cleaning the the throttle body and MAF sensor with no luck, but after finding out where the fuel filter was I changed it, which cured the problem. How embarrassing, I have owned this car for 9 years and have had it serviced regularly, but never before changed the fuel filter. I sure the other stuff helped but the fuel filter fixed the reduced engine power problem. I had to disconnect the battery each time to get it out of limp mode and was quite frustrated at the end.

My 2004 pontiac grand prix gtp has twice now thrown reduced engine power across my dash and acts like it cant get any gas and comes to a stop. Does anyone know what this might be the first time I figured...

Have the fault codes read as a reduce power message means that something is wrong either in the engine or the gear box. check oil and coolant levels and treat the message seriously as it is intending to stop costly damage

My reduce engine power light comes on in my 2006 grand prix 3.8, what does this mean?

Having same problem with reduce engine power, good engine hard to pin point without pros. After driving awhile discover blown intake manifold gaskets..take awhile to show external signs.Remove throttle body...if gasket inside is wet then start there.Let me know how it turns out uh.

My 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix barely moves!!!!

Have you ever had the catalytic converter changed. Over time the pellets inside will melt together and this will make the care very very sluggish like it does not want to run. You may want to try that.
