Hazard Lights come on and wont turn off. I can be driving and they turn on and off all by themselves. I can press hazard button and lights sometime turns off and sometimes not....Can I disable? Where is the flasher or even better is there and Independent fuse for the Hazard Lights?
I'd be thinking that the switch is defective.
The hazard lights are there for a reason so I would not disable them.
My suggestion?
Get the switch checked.

Testimonial: "Thank You Ted! Can I disconnect at the switch? If lights go and stay off that would assume the switch is bad?"
Hi Todd:
Depending on your vehicle the switch may be isolated or, possibly integral with other functions. If it's isolated it may be attached by blade connectors or a plug. Disconnecting it should stop the function. If it does not, you have sppoky gremlins.
Don't forget, your rear emergency flashers typically share the turn signal and brake light bulb/circuit.
Disabling the flasher may lose the others as well.
Thank You for all your help....
That's part of the fun in doing this.
Please let me knowthe final solution.
Ted
It looks like a pretty tricky job trying to get the damn switch...I miss the good old cars that we were actually able to work on...LOL
You're playing 12 bar blues in E minor.
Love it!
Update....We have do have spooky gremlins...LOL! I pulled the switch and it was attached to a small circuit board (No wires). I disconnected the board and switch entirely and the hazards were still flashing. I put everything back together and lights were still flashing. I hit the button one last time and everything is off at least for now....So Confused!!!
Right.
Now, NEVER touch that switch again unless there is an emergency.
Cheerfuls!
I'm not convinced it doesn't come back on again. I think its a fluke and the switch is messing with me.
