ITS NOT NECESSARY TO BE THE BATTERY CHECK ALTERNATOR IF ITS CHARGING OR NOT BY CHECK VOLTAGE BY VOLT METER IF IT SHOWS MORE THEN 12 V WHEN THE ENGINE RUNNING ALTERNATOR IS OK IF NOT REPLACE OR REPAIR IT. AND ALSO YOU CAN REMOVE BATTERY CABLE IF ENGINE OFF ALTERNATOR IS NOT OK.

What color is the light suppose to be when my pyle pro pwma600 pa speaker is charging suppose to be green or red?

Hi,normaly the green light says that the battery is fully charged,so if its red it might be that its charging but not fully charged, but saying that if it dose not charge after some time then the red light can mean its not charging, just food for thought, all the best.

Fully charged battery . Fully charged Battery ,NO power to the starter , head lights , or power of any kind

it looks like you have a fusible link burn or open circuit
with a test light find out witch circuit is missing.
the starter have direct current from battery and ignition current to starter solenoid. maybe the problem is ignition switch or wires

Can a battery read 12volts when engine doesn't start and if lights get turned on voltage drops to 3 volts does this mean the battery is no good

Your battery is definately suspect.Give it a good charge and check it again. If it drops like that when you turn on the lights replace it.A fully charged battery in good condition will read about 14.2V when fully charged. When you turn the key to start it will drop to about 11 and come back up when you turn the key off.

The van wont start, no lights on dash except for the seatbelt and open door light. when you turn the key it makes a click in the dash. the battery is fully charged and the terminals are tight.

How do you know the battery is good, fully charged may not be the case if the battery has a failed internal post connection. Have the battery load tested at a shop or a parts store.

I have a 2003 dodge durango v8 and the motor will not start. When I turn the key the engine makes no sound at all. The lights in the interior work, as well as the keyless entry. Is this a battery problem...

The problem is most likely the starter, but you should ensure that the battery is fully charged before proceeding. The battery doesn't need to be fully charged to run just about all the interior lights and the head lights, but attempting to crank the engine is a large current draw, and can drop voltage quickly on a partially discharged battery.

If the battery is fully charged, continue to checking the starter.
