Automotive Can I convert a standard door to an all power door. O is it easier to change the whole door out.

This is a standard 15 amp automotive blade fuse. They do also come as a Mini blade Fuse as show in the Walmart advert below. Just take the fuse you have to the Automotive aisles at Walmart.

Well that depends on a couple of things. Remove torque converter dust sheild . Manually turn motor with a pull handle on crank shaft front pulley and inspect the edge of flywheel just inside the starter ring gear for an eigth inch pipe plug. If not found there's bad news. The converter in not drianable. You must remove trans and remove from trans turn snout down on a five gallon bucket to drain. Also note if you are trying to change fluid because there is a prob its too late damage is done already. If your doing it for maintenance purposes then you local automotive shop should have a fluid exchange machine that gets all the fluid with a whole lot less work. Thanks

i think your better of changing the whole engine to a turbo powered one as not possable to convert normal aspirated engines to turbo aspirated unless your a magician , sorry mate can't be done

Use an automotive heat gun set to low setting and gently pry the old molding off, then locate an automotive paint/body shop supply store and buy a roll of the special molding double sided tape to put it back on, you will have to buy a whole roll , it will be pricey.

well it one of three things the window motor, the window regulator, or you intermindently have no power to that window, start by checking for power at the window switch and then if you have power there the check for pwer at the motor which will require you to remove the door pannel, and you test for power with a multimeter or test light you can get at any auto store. so if there is power, and you dont hear a binding, grinding noise the motor is bad but its a whole lot easier to replace the window motor and regulator at the same time

If you take it to one of the muffler shops and have them ad the new pipe in with converter if you need one, that is by far easier then having to remove the whole exhaust manifold and a lot easier on everyone else not having to hear you cuss the whole time.

It's probably faster and easier to change entire unit than to fix what someone messed with!!!

i would think the door is not recognised as being opened.if the interior or door light does not work when the door is opened its probally due to a faulty microswitch in the door lock mechanism,the whole lock mechanism will need to be replaced.

It's easier to use a wiring adapter... you can can cheap ones off ebay which convert the Toyota wiring to standard ISO.
