Need to have vehicle scanned most auto stores offer this service for free ---your check engine and traction control are on-- vehicles computer registered a problem with in vehicle and is letting you know ---the code(s) will be a start towards solving problem
Those icons might be showing a fault code being thrown. Go to Autozone and have them check it with a scanner to see what the problem could be.
I think you have Ground problem.
The slippery road light is part of the ABS system. one or more ABS sensors reading is much greater or lower then VSS (speed) sensor.
Same time the engine quit is indication for lose ground.Inspect your ground connection , if you have broken engine mount will pull the wire and kill the engine and ABS system.
