My AC and Heater blower isn't working in the front vents of my 2004 Chrysler Pacifica what is the problem

If the air blows out of all of your other vents then you have either had an actuator go bad which controls which ducts the air flows through, or the shaft that has the "flap" on it has popped loose and no longer moves which will only allow air to go to the vents that are not locked. The easiest way to find out would be to get under the dash and start at the fan and trace air flow til you find the problem.

Heater and airconditioner control on mercery grand marquis

If the fan will not run on ANY speed in your Grand Marquis, the problem is most likely NOT the control switch.

Check for power and ground at the blower motor connector. If power and ground is present, replace the blower motor. Otherwise, the problem is most likely a failed blower speed control module (VERY common). The blower motor speed controller is located in the A/C evaporator housing just below the heater hoses.

Note: It is also common for a bad blower motor to CAUSE the controller to go bad. You MAY have to replace BOTH.

Heater not getting hot but blower is working

Without more information, I can tell you that you have a problem with your heater core. Check coolant levels and make sure you aren't low on coolant. If that isn't an issue, make sure your heater core isn't bypassed. In Texas, I see them bypassed instead of repaired because it hardly ever gets cold here. You could also have a dirty heater core that isn't allowing the heat transfer. The only other thing it could be is an issue with the temperature blend door/actuator. If it isn't opening properly to allow the warm air from the heater core to enter the ventilation system, you won't get hot air.

My 1991 isuzu trooper heater blower fan is not working, nor when i turn it to the airconditioner the compressor does not engage. i checked all the fuses except the ac relay fuse block, what could the...

if the lower fan speeds dont work but the fastest speed does the heater fan resistor block needs replacing. If the highest fan speed doesnt work leave it on there and check for power at heater blower fan, if power is on one wire and the other is an earth the blower motor fan needs replacing. Use a normal globe test light to check this. If no power on any wires to fan go back and check all fuses in car and under bonnet with same test light. If fuses are ok possible open circuit wire to fan.

My 1988 toyota camry: airconditioner/heat doesn't work

The heater may not work because of a bad thermostat, low coolant, or a bad sensor at the engine. It can also be a bad resistor valve under the dash. The resistor valve is connected to a wire plug on the blower motor under the dashboard. It needs to be replaced. Th AC may need to be refilled with refrigerant or the compressor may be bad.

AC only work on high speed

If the blower motor only works on the high speed it most likely needs to the blower motor resistors replaced. Sometimes when replacing the resistors the dealer recommends that the blower motor be replaced in conjunction. It's believed the blower motor burns out the resistors. The resistor pack is either in the engine bay mounted on the heater box or under the passenger side of the dash board.
