My motor fan for radiator is not working. I have replaced the motor, but still not running. which one one is the relay/ fuse for motor fan in the fuse box?
The engine cooling fan system consists of 2 electrical cooling fans and 3 fan relays. The relays are arranged in a series/parallel configuration that allows the powertrain control module (PCM) or engine control module (ECM) to operate both fans together at low or high speeds. The cooling fans and fan relays receive battery positive voltage from the underhood junction block. The ground path is provided at G100.
During low speed operation, the PCM supplies the ground path for the low speed fan relay through the low speed cooling fan relay control circuit. This energizes the cooling fan 1 relay coil, closes the relay contacts, and supplies battery positive voltage from the cool fan 1 maxifuse?® through the cooling fan motor supply voltage circuit to the left cooling fan. The ground path for the left cooling fan is through the cooling fan relay and the right cooling fan. The result is a series circuit with both fans running at low speed.
During high speed operation, the PCM/ECM supplies the ground path for the cooling fan 1 relay through the low speed cooling fan relay control circuit. After a 3 second delay, the PCM/ECM supplies a ground path for the cooling fan 2 relay and the cooling fan relay through the high speed cooling fan relay control circuit. This energizes the cooling fan relay coil, closes the relay contacts, and provides a ground path for the left cooling fan. At the same time the cooling fan 2 relay coil is energized closing the relay contacts and provides battery positive voltage from the cool fan 2 maxifuse?® on the cooling fan motor supply voltage circuit to the right cooling fan. During high speed fan operation, both engine cooling fans have there own ground path. The result is a parallel circuit with both fans running at high speed.
There is 2 fuses that you have to check
one will be in the big fuse assembly in the engine bay, the other probably in the fuse assembly in the cab
If they prove ok then it is possible that the coolant temperature SENSOR is faulty and needs replacing
don't confuse it with the temperature sender which operates the temp gauge.

Try this..At the driver's seat open your car door all the way then look at the dashboard end. Pry off the plastic cover...the diagram should also be at the back of the cover.

Normally, the fan will not spin at the same RPM as the engine. This is
the purpose of the fan clutch. On the fan clutch sits a little thermal
spring that engages the clutch to spin the fan at the same rpm as the
motor when the motor gets hotter than normal.
Being able to hold onto the fan while the motor is running, is normal (not recommended, but normal).
You can test the clutch by heating it and then trying to spin the fan
while the motor is off. If it is still easy to spin, you could have a
bad fan clutch, or you didn't heat it enough. It is kind of a crappy
way to test.
You not having cooling issues leads me to guess that your clutch is
alright. But I don't know what type of climate you live it, nor do I
know in what condition your clutch is.
They can actually be difficult to replace. Easy theory, but actually
doing the job may be harder than you think. They are threaded onto the
water pump pulley (just one big threaded stud). To remove you need to
either be really crafty, or you need a wrench designed to hold the
pulley in place while you loosen the clutch and fan assembly. No, the
pulley drive belt is not enough to keep the pulley from turning (it
will either slip or you will turn the crank of the motor).
Usually they are on there pretty tight! When I replaced my water pump
on my truck, I could not remove the fand and clutch from the water pump
while in the truck (I had to remove my radiator shroud and remove it
all in one piece) then I had to weld the old water pump impeller to the
casting to keep it from spinning then broke it loose with a 2ft breaker
bar! Seriously.
Once you get the old one off, remove the fan and bolt it to your new clutch unit. Then thread it on the water pump.

The Fuse is loacated in the instrument fuse panel fuse #3 located on the passenger side of the dash, there is round handle to pull the cover off

I have a chevy uplander and you have to open the passenger door and its on the side of the dash, to the right of the glove box. You will notice a small rounf opening with just enough room for 2 fingers to go in. the whole side will come off when you pull it.

i have a 2006 chevy uplander and i need to change the low beam headlamp how do i do it, also about a month after we had got the van the rear wiper stopped working i haven't checked the fuse yet, but is this a common problem for the uplander, and also the abs light stays on what should i do for that problem, and also when we drive it and then shut it off it does not want to turn on right away.

There should be a thermal switch associated with this fan , prob in radiator or near thermostat area , I'd check this switch
