I have no idea what kind of vehicle this is, but sounds as if you have narrowed it down to the switch, bad wiring or the bulbs ground. Just for grins, what is a Proton?

Hi hope you can help i have a proton jumbuck and my dipped headlights will not work ? side lights and full beam work well thanks john

it is possible that you have a blown fuse, HIGH & LOW beams are usually on different fuses, most likely for safety reasons so as if either one blows at least you still have lights, check the fuses in the fuse box......hope this helps......cheers.

No dipped beam headlights on audi a4 1,9td 2003

Check up dipped beam headlights fuse inside fuse box. For Audi A4 the fuse box is located on the left side of dashboard behind a plastic cover (for left hand steering wheel vehicle). On inner face of the plastic cover you will find the fuse diagram. If the dipped beam headlights fuse is OK, check up dipped beam headlights bulbs.

Low Beam headlights don't work. High Beam work fine and diriving lights work as well.

hi from uk provided you have checked bulbs are ok? then this fault may be the relay for the low /dipped beam has gone faulty if you check h/book you may find location of low beam relay there is relay for high and one for low beams if you find both relays ? try switching? this will confirm relay fault if you then have low beam but no high ? b4 you buy new relay other than tis the other possible fault may be the actual di/high beam stick control ?
