Cd player reads error. Dont eject the cd, dont play the cd

I had this happen on my Ford. I used a blank CD and pushed it partially into the slot to push the stuck disc back in. At the same time, pressing the eject button. I ruined the disc that was in there (scratched badly) but it did eject in the end.

TRY TURNING OFF CD PLAYER.WAIT 10 MINUTES THEN TURN CD PLAYER BACK ON THEN PRESS THE EJECT BUTTON.SOME TIMES CDS PLAYERS GET HOT WHEN PLAYED FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME.MY CDS SEEMS GET STUCK WHEN I PLAY CD PLAYER LONG TIME.SOMETIMES IF CD DONT COME OUT .IF IT STICKING OUT JUST A LITTLE.TRY PUSHING BACK IN CD PLAYER THEN EJECT IT.THIS TRICK WORKS SOME TIMES.

TRY ANOTHER CD IF STILL DONT PLAY YOUR CD PLAYER LENS NEED CLEANING .GO TO WALMART- TARGETS- OR CVS LOOK FOR CD LENS PLAYER CLEANER.

try another cd wont play if too scratched or dirty. handle disc by edge, dont touch the surface of disc no matter how lightly you hold it, you will leave contaminants that cloud the surface. if none ever work try them in a house cd player still no joy, then discs aare no good, if they work in home player then car cd died, time for new one. heck who uses cd any more? its a hassle to change them (only 16 songs!), hassle to replace lost daamaged or stolen(borrowed by friends), skip or scratches, get a radio with usb reader/player or SD card reader, can be had for under $60 , an 8gb SD card for $25 (4,000 songs<do you even KNOW the names of that many songs?) its very likley the cd is fulty,, if its been left in the sun or it got hot some home burnt cd's dont play very well in car players,, try putting a cd head cleaner in the player but if it still refuses to play this cd try another cd that will play in your home player,, if it wont play that one its likley the lazer could have lost a bit of power in the car's cd unit

had the same problem with my cd player...just disconected the battery for 5 mins and put it back on the cd player ejected all the cds and plays them again.no cd error

This is not a fix, but if you can see the CD and it's not ejecting, get two box cutter razor blades place one blade above the CD and the other under it. Squeeze the blades gently together using needle nose pliers. Be sure not to push the blades in too deep. Sometimes CD players will not play home copied CDs

just replaced my 2006 Pontiac G6 GT Monsoon 6 CD changer with an identical model pulled from a totaled car.How do I reprogram it so it works on my car.

06 expedition 6 cd player and having the same issues,,, Disconnect battery and all 6 cd are stuck inside. "Error cd" shows when pushing eject. Looked everywhere and nothing shows how to fix it. I dont want to buy another radio/cd player for something that ford should know and how to fix?

I dont want to guess a solution for this however, ERR2 represents EJECT. The description of this error is "The Eject is not available". Possibilities are, jammed mechanism or sticky eject button.
