If you mean to charge battery of a smartphone, a tablet or some similar device, you pug it in the cigarette lighter slot.
If you mean your car's battery, you can't properly "plug" it. you need a car battery charger.

I have a 2007 Highlander Hybrid.. I am wondering if I can charge the regular battery with jumper cables and another car? The regular battery is different than the hybrid batteries, correct?

Correct, two batteries. Once your vehicle is jumped and started, the alternator will charge all the batteries, so just take it for a 30 minute highway run. Your larger Hybrid battery bank should be fully charged by plugging it in.

All vehicle owners should have a 10 amp battery charger.

Hello, After charging my Peak 300 Jump Starter it whistle's (loudly) after I unplug it and it just keeps whistling... Can you tell me what the matter? email:

Refer to the instructions that came with charger. If you threw them away you have a problem You can go on line and download instructions.
Low Charge Alert (LCA)
On the front of the unit there is a Low Charge Alert port. There is a red plug in this port. With the plug
removed, when the battery level drops to LO, an alarm will sound to remind the user to recharge the
Jump-Starter.
The alarm can be turned off one of three ways:

Placing the pin back into the Low Charge Alert port

Recharging the battery immediately to bring it to the capacity of 10% or more

Pressing the battery indicator display button. If the alarm is turned off by pressing the battery
display button, the alarm will sound automatically again in approximately 1 hour.
The alarm will only be turned off permanently if the battery is in a fully charged state, or the pin is
inserted in the Low Charge Alert port. There is a storage port on the back of the Jump-Starter for the
LCA plug. When the plug is removed from the LCA port, it should be installed in the storage port on the
back of the Jump-Starter.
Charging Jump-Starter Battery
All rechargeable batteries gradually discharge when left idle, and you need to recharge them
periodically to maintain maximum battery capacity. The AC charger plug within the Jump-Starter is
designed to charge using a 110/120-volt outlet.

Fully charge unit to the recommended maximum and initial charge time of 24 hours. Thereafter, an
AC typical charge time is 8 to 12 hours.

Recharge the unit fully after each use. This will prolong the life of the battery because frequent
discharges between recharges will reduce battery life.

Make sure all functions of the Jump-Starter are turned off during recharging

Charging problem

Battery discharge when shut off is due to a connected add on in the truck,( 2way radio, some item plugged into the power plug, ETC). Also a bad battery will lose it's charge when not being charged,( I've seen brand new batteries do this, Have it load tested, Also the alternator can discharge the battery if the diode is defective. Depending on wiring set up the engine can shut off when you disconnect the positive cable.

2007 500. Why is battery not charging?

Hi, Is there a charging warning light on the dash? Have you checked to see if the alternator is sending out a charge? Have you checked the fuses (I think no 17)?

Battery not charging showing on the display for the second time after I changed the battery once and the altenator twice. What could the problem be?

Take a good look at the alternator plug. The tabs on the inside should all look the same. Also a lot of corrosion can cause no contact. Replace the plug if necessary.

Car battery charging

If you already have a charger set it on a 2-4 amp charge then put the red cable from the charger to the post on the battery that has the red cable and the black to black then plug the charger in and let it charge for 6-8 hours.

Battery in Jeep Grand Cherokee dead this am and less than 1 year old. I have a Everstart 100 battery charger plugged in and on the car. How long does it take to charge the battery. The charger is plugged...

How many amps does this charger put out????
A small trickle charger will take forever to fully recharge a dead battery, you'll need to have a battery charger that can put out enough amps to properly charge a dead battery. To clarify, the chargers sold at Sears, the large square types on wheels are the best for charging dead batteries and they also have an amp meter telling you how much the battery is accepting. After you charge your battery, you should be around 12.5 volts to 12.7 volts. DO NOT OVER CHARGE!!!
