Check the linkage in the door, sometimes they come loose. Could also be a bad actuator in the door.
Remove door panel and check the actuator if pulling ok check the latch and` make sure is not sticking

the locking mecanizine is jam lub the latch its not easy to do you might have to remove the inner panel of the door .put some lub and try to move the lock unlock button many time for the lub to go in wd-40 or something better thank you

inspect the door hindge pins and busings it sounds like they are getting worn out and maybe due for replacement. also look and see if the spring in the hindge is still their. if all is well have the door adjusted properly to repair your problem.

handle may be broken from the inside of the door or the rod may be bent or disconnected. have to take the panel off to see it. when off, have someone pull the handle up a few times so you can look at it from the inside to see what its not doing
