Explorer 2007 Right Head Lamp And HighBeam Problem

On My Explorer 2007 ,The Right HeadLamp And High Beam D'not Works .The Screen In The Speedometer Says "CHECK RIGHT HEADLAMP AND HIGHBEAM" But The Left Headlamp And High beam Are Working In Good Condition And Cannot Find the Location Of Relay For Headlamps In Ford Explorer 2007. Please Help Me ..

Have you checked the bulbs? There are individual fuses for each headlamp so you'll want to check those also. they are in the battery junction box which is under the hood on the driver's side, fuse 29 is for the right headlamp and fuse 34 is for the left headlamp.

Headlamps
You can use the headlamps two different ways.
• Place the headlamp switch in the HEAD position for normal operations
• Place the headlamp switch in the OFF position for automatic lamp control (ALC) operation. During ALC the low beam headlamps are ON for daytime running lamp (DRL) operation in daylight conditions at reduced intensity or low beam headlamps ON at full intensity with exterior park lamps ON in low light conditions.
The body control module (BCM) applies a pulse width modulated (PWM) voltage to the headlamp module and high beam relay in the underhood fuse block. The ground for the headlamp module is supplied from G113 or G115. For normal manual low beam operation when the headlamp switch is place in the HEAD position, ground from G202 is applied through the headlamp switch and to the BCM through the headlamp switch headlamps ON signal circuit. The BCM then applies a PWM voltage to the headlamp module/high beam relay voltage supply circuit. The headlamp module then applies battery positive voltage through the left front (LF) and right front (RF) LO Beam fuses to the left and right low beam headlamps. The ground for the left headlamps is supplied by G101 and the ground for the right headlamp is supplied by G100.
For high beam operation, ground is applied at all times to the headlamp dimmer switch from G202. When the headlamp dimmer switch is placed in the HIGH position, ground is then applied through the headlamp dimmer switch signal circuit to the BCM. The BCM then applies a ground to the headlamp high beam relay control circuit. This energizes the HI Beam relay, the relay then applies battery positive voltage through the LF and RF HI BEAM fuses to the LF and RF high beam headlamps. The ground for the left headlamps is supplied by G101 and the ground for the right headlamp is supplied by G100.
The BCM then sends a class 2 message to the instrument cluster in order to illuminate the high beam indicator lamp. If the headlamp switch is left in the HEAD position, the inadvertent power control feature will turn OFF the headlamps after 10 minutes after you turn the ignition switch to the OFF position. If you place the headlamp switch in the head position after the ignition switch has been turned OFF, or if the ignition switch is in ACCY position, the headlamps will remain ON until you turn them OFF or until the battery runs dead.

My head lights went out but my parking light are still on what could be the problem

I would check the fuses first. Headlights are typically on a separate fuse then the parking lights. If the fuse is fine check and see if the Bulb is burnt out but it is rare for both lights to go out at the same time.

Have a 2005 impala and I'm having problems with the headlights. When i turn them on they don't always turn on. They will work sometimes but they don't work sometimes

Could be any number of reasons why this happens . The headlamp switch , the dimmer switch the headlamp relay , the BCM - body control module , wiring , connections , ground etc..... Without testing no one on here could say for sure what's wrong . Do you know how to test electrical circuits ? Viewing wiring diagrams then using a DVOM - digital volt ohmmeter to test the headlamp electrical circuits . Possibly hooking up a scan tool an checking headlamp switch input data to the BCM an seeing if the BCM is energizing the headlamp relay .

The DRL/EXT Fuse in the top underhood junction block supplies battery positive voltage at all time to the coil side of DRL relay, left low and high beam headlamps. The EXT LTS Fuse in the top underhood junction block supplies battery positive voltage at all time to the right low and high beam headlamps.
For normal manual low beam operation when the headlamp switch is placed in the HEAD position, ground is applied from G203, through the low beam contacts in the headlamp switch to the body control module (BCM).
The BCM then applies a ground to the headlamp relay control circuit. This energizes the headlamp relay in the left I/P junction block allowing ground from G201 to be applied through the switched contacts of the headlamp relay, through low beam contacts in the headlamp dimmer switch then to the left and right low beam headlamps, illuminating them.
For high beam operation the headlamp dimmer switch is placed in the HIGH position, ground is then applied from G201 through the switched contacts of the headlamp relay, through high contacts of the headlamp dimmer switch to the left and right high beam headlamps, illuminating them.
When the dimmer switch is placed in the HIGH position, the indicator lamp input to the BCM is pulled low. The BCM then sends a class 2 message to the instrument cluster in order to illuminate the high beam indicator lamp.
If the headlamp switch is left in the HEAD position, the inadvertent power control feature will turn off the headlamps after 10 minutes after you turn the ignition switch to the OFF position. If you place the headlamp switch in the head position after the ignition switch has been turned OFF, or if the ignition switch is in ACCY position, the headlamps will remain on until you turn them off or until the battery runs dead.

Did you check the fuse circuit for voltage, use a testlite or something.
I posted part of headlamp wiring. You understand your dimmer switch is involved in the circuits.

Where is the headlamp relay on a 2007 saturn ion

Are both low beams an high beams not working ? What engine does your car have ? Low beam relay only on 2.2 L .
On vehicles with manual headlamps, the LH HDLP and RH HDLP fuse in the fuse block - under hood, supply battery positive voltage to both low beam lamps and high beam lamps at all times. The low beam and high beam circuits continue through the fuse block - under hood, through the body control module (BCM), and to the headlamp switch. The low beam or high beam circuit then, depending on the position of the dimmer switch, continues through the headlamp switch. When the headlamp switch is placed in the ON position, it provides a ground path for the low beam or high beam lamps through G203. The low beam and high beam circuits are monitored by the BCM.
Is there B+ voltage at the headlamp fuse's ? Power runs from fuse through the head lamps to the dimmer switch through the head lamp switch to ground when turned on . If there is B+ voltage at the fuse ,check for voltage at the headlamp switch .

You can't turn them on manually with the switch . You have the switch set on auto ?
Headlamps
You can use the headlamps in two different ways.

• Place the headlamp switch in the OFF position for automatic lamp control (ALC). During ALC the high beam headlamps are On at reduced intensity for daytime running lamp (DRL) operation in daylight conditions, or low beam headlamps On in low light conditions.
The DRL/EXT LTS fuse and the EXT lamps fuse in the underhood junction block supply battery positive voltage at all times to both of low beam lamps and to the right high beam lamp. The low beam circuit continues to the high/low beam switch, then, depending on the position of the dimmer switch, connects to the normally-open headlamp relay switch contacts. Placing the headlamp switch in the HEAD position provides a ground path for the headlamp switch input of the Body Control Module (BCM). After receiving this input, the BCM energizes the headlamp relay. When the headlamp relay is energized, the low beam circuit is connected to ground G201. The high beam circuit is divided into a left and a right side circuit.
The DRL/EXT LTS fuse in the underhood ignition block supplies battery positive voltage to both the coil and to the normally-closed contact of the DRL relay switch circuit. During high beam operation, the left side current flow is through the closed contacts of the DRL relay, and to the left high beam lamp.
The EXT Lamps fuse in the top of the engine fuse block supplies battery positive voltage to the right high beam lamp. Both high beam circuits are then connected together, and continue to the dimmer switch. When the driver closes the high beam contacts of the dimmer switch, the circuit is grounded at G201.
Both the headlight switch and the BCM provide a ground, or control circuit, to the headlight relay coil circuit for manual or automatic headlamp operation. When you place the headlamp switch in the OFF position, and the ambient light sensor indicates low light conditions, the BCM energizes the headlamp relay for low beam operation. You may switch the headlights to high beam by pulling the dimmer switch handle toward you until the dimmer switch is activated. When the dimmer switch is placed in the HIGH position, the indicator lamp input to the BCM is pulled low. The BCM then sends a class 2 message to the instrument cluster in order to illuminate the high beam indicator lamp.
If the headlamp switch is left in the head position, the inadvertent power control feature will turn off the headlights 10 minutes after you turn the ignition switch to the OFF position. If you place the headlamp switch in the head position after the ignition switch has been turned OFF, or if the ignition switch is in the ACCY position, the headlights will remain ON until you turn them OFF or until the battery runs dead.

1996 ford explorer head light has high beam but no low beam. Im wondering if it is a ground that is loose or maybe my dimmer switch is failing

The components involved in your headlamp system vary considerably depending on whether your vehicle is equipped with "Auto Lamps", "Daytime Running Lamps" and/or "Fog Lamps". In any of these cases, both the High Beam and the Low Beam elements share the same grounds. Yes, it could be the dimmer switch. It could also be the Daytime running lamp module or the Headlamp Switch or the Auto Lamp Control Unit. It is also possible that you simply have both of your Low Beam Headlamp elements burned out or have bad sockets where they connect to the wiring harness.

Right headlamp

Check the fuse for the passenger side.It is under the hood. it may not be making good contact. wiggle it a little bit and see if it makes any difference. if not, check where the the ground wires are connected to the chasis. See if thats not the problem.
