Have you checked the ignition fuses, or checked for power to your ignition module? You have everything else covered! I hope these ideas will get you running. Best wishes.

SOURCE: i have a subaru legacy 1995 2.2, it turns off when

IF the crankshaft turned ANY after the belt broke, you have bent the valves. The valves only have room to extend when the piston is down in the cylinderhead. IF the piston comes up, and the valve is down still, due to a broken belt that cannot turn the cam to let it back up.... BAM!

1998 Mitsubishi spider 2.4 spark plug and Coil want wiring diagram

Your engine uses a "waste spark" ignition, meaning it uses one coil for each pair of cylinders. The high voltage current path is to the first spark plug, through the aluminum cylinder head to the secodn spark plug, then out of that plug back to the ingnition coil. One plug fires on the comrpession stroke and the other on the exhaust stroke to ignite any unburned exhaust gasses. The engine's computer "fires one coil at a time based on signals from the crank angle sensor and the cam angle sensor. Likely the problem with your engine is with one of those two sensors.

An OBDII scanner will indicate which sensor is defective. If the engine ran fine before you turned it off, and now it will not start, the problem is likely the crank angle sensor (close tot he crank pully). Otherwsie, oif the engine starts sometimes and not others, it is due to a defective cam angle sensor (near the intake cam "gear" (where the timing belt cover is).

Hyundai grandeur won't start 1999

have you check cam timing, has the timing belt jumped or has it broken and need replacing. does this have an anti-theft system on it and if so is it activated to cause no start. are the injectors working, have you check for codes in the computer is there is a problem with the computer. just some things to look into.

Car will crank there is no spark have replaced coil and condenser

Test the ignition system output, ignition systems can vary in configuration but operate on the same principal. Ignition systems can consist of a coil, pick up coil, crank angle sensor, cam angle sensor, spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, ignition rotor and a distributor and any variations of these components. An ignition coil is a voltage stepper coil that transforms a low voltage (12 volts) signal into tens of thousands of volts needed to jump the gap of the spark plug.

This coil is activated by an ignition module triggered by using the camshaft/crankshaft angle sensor; timing is adjusted by the PCM (computer). This primary electrical signal is generated by the PCM which calculates spark timing by using a variety of sensors including coolant temperature, mass air flow, and oxygen sensors. Go to 2carpros.com for a video on how to check this using a 12v light tool. On the engine repair section search, type, "engine cranks but will not start." If my answer helpe you, please leve good feedback. thanks

2000 grand cherokee just dies going down the road. no warning no fault codes.what are the possible causes

no stumbling first? sounds ignition related check all the plug ins on ign system I assume it always starts right back up ok? sounds like either crank or cam sensor,if I had to guess it would be crank first but next time it dies try restarting right away without shutting key off first and let the engine crank for about 30-40 sec if it don;t start it should set a dtc which will tell you either crank or cam sensor but it will start happening more often until one day it just wont restart again.
