The trunk release dosen't work on my 95" acura legend, how do i get my trunk open?

truck? you ment TRUNK.
some latches can be closed, with open door or trunk.
what you do is trip it.
look at lock and fiddly parts and it goes click..
look at the latch, is the actual latch close with open trunk. yes, BINGO

TRUNK WILL NOT OPEN

It can be trunk cable issue or the latch issue which gets open/close. It has to be inspected. =========

check all of your weatherstripping

a 91-95 bodykit will not work unfortunatey.but you can purchase one for older legends. Try Hondatuner magazines website

make sure the switch in the glove box is turned on.

could be the spring release in the lever on the trunk itself. If you can hear the acuator locking/unlocking(that is all it's ment to do) then the spring release is the problem. you need to unbolt the latch from inside the trunk and once the trunk is open you can trace from there. I had the same problem due to a minor fender bender and I just fixed mine last week.

sometimes they will have a pull handle on them. why cant you just grab the keys when you crawl theu the seat?
