the bottom boult is hard but can be done need to use a 10 or 12 stubby wrench and take a pry bar and lighty pry heat shild away to get bottom bolt dont need to take it out all the way just loosen and slide down

it sounds to me like your blower moter resister or your blower moter switch are going bad both are right under the hood next to the blower moter one has 2 witers on it the other has 4 it usuley on the pass side right near the window

Removal Procedure Tools RequiredJ 38400
Caution: Keep fingers away from rear brake shoe springs to prevent fingers from being pinched between spring and shoe web or spring and backing plate.

  1. Remove the brake drum. Refer to Brake Drum Replacement

    Notice: Do not over stretch the adjuster spring. Damage can occur if the spring is over stretched.
  3. Use the J 38400 in order remove the adjuster spring (1). Disengage the adjuster spring loop from the tab on the adjuster actuator.
  4. 2.1. Remove the loop end of the adjuster spring from the adjuster actuator. 2.2. Remove the straight end of the adjuster spring from the secondary brake shoe.

  5. Use the J 38400 in order to spread the brake shoes apart.
  6. Remove the adjuster.

    Important: Ensure that the adjuster (2) engages the brake shoes (4 and 5), the park brake actuator (3), and the adjuster actuator (1) properly.
  3. Install the adjuster.

no you dont need a special tool you have to take the throttle body off it makes it sooooooo much more simple.

SOURCE: Radio, Key auto door lock/opener, interior lights not working.

Most likely is a fuse. There is a fuse box at the end of the right side of the dash. Open front passenger door and there is a cover that says fuses on the end of dash. There is also a fuse box located under the hood at the right front of engine compartment. It should have a cover with a round knob in the middle of it .Unscrew the knob to remove cover.

The pk3 system has a sensor ring around the lock cylinder these go bad a relearn will not fix this because no security code is being sent to the pass key module.

check to make sure the security light is not on if it is the van will have spark but no injecter pulse the best way to solve this issue is to have the original igniton key and put it in the igniton in the run position and leave it on for 10 minutes then the light will flash then try to start the van

Here is something that the emission wiz helped me with


PASS LOCK RESET GM CARS 1999 UP
1) Put the key in the ignition and turn to the "ON" position. Leave it that way for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes turn the key and take it out. Repeat this process (2) more times (3 times, 30 minutes total) This should reset the passlock system to recognize your key

Program master key for 2000 chevy venture

To program a new key...
1-Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF, using a master Pass-Key III key (black).

2-Observe the security telltale. After approximately 10 minutes the telltale will turn off.

3-Turn OFF the ignition, and wait 5 seconds.

4-Repeat step 1-3 two more times, for a total of 3 cycles or 30 minutes.
