Is this a manual or automatic. manual trans take 80/90 weight gear oil and you fill it to the bottom of the fill hole. the amount depends on if your topping it up or changing all the oil. most take about 4 litres. at any rate fill to bottom of fill hole. if automatic you can use Dexron trans fluid or Honda trans fluid. fill until the level is within the add and full marks on the dip stick.

How to change (check) AUDI transmission oil
Transmision oil for Audi A4 (1.8, 1.8T, 1.9 TDI):
Manual gearbox (5 speed):
- Capacity = 2,25 liters
- Specification: Gear oil SAE 75 W 90 (synthetic oil)
Part number G 052 145 S2 (1 liter)
- To check oil level, unscrew oil filler plug placed on the left side of the gearbox in front and near of transmission axle, using an Allen 17 mm key.
- Check oil level with locally manufactured tool, e.g. a piece of angled wire.
- Specification: oil level 7 mm below bottom edge of oil filler hole.
- Install oil filler plug, tightening torque = 25 Nm.

1.2 manual reverse gear problum
Manual transmission does not change gears with transmission oil. If yours is the AMT type, get it scanned for error codes.If the problem is in shifting into R, get your clutch cable adjusted. Your clutch plate may have also worn out. If shifting is OK but the car just does not move, the gear linkage/cable may need adjustment. If all else is OK, the reverse gear in the transmission may have been damaged.

Just bought the 1988 Toyota pickup and don't know what size engine in it. I need to change the oil and need to know what type.
If it's a 4 cylinder it's a 2.4 liter. If it's a 6 cylinder it's a 3.0 liter. The 2.4 liter engine comes with a carb, Fuel injection or even a turbo. Either way the 2.4 and the 3.0 take the same oil filter. The bosch is # 3330. I hope this helped and good luck.

if you want one from ford you have to go to your local ford dealership and order one in the parts department you can also try downloading one for your car try www.edmunds.com to see if you can if it was me i would go to your local napa and they be able to tell you how much oil and the type you will need wish you the best of luck Michigan Man.

Crankcase capacity for 2003 ford focus 2.0 liter split port engine
Hi,

To my knowledge, a 2003 Ford Focus 2.0 SPi engine would need 4 quarts of engine oil (roughly 3.78 liters). Incidentally, the Ford/Cosworth Zeta/Zetec engine would be needing 4.25 quarts (~4 liters).

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
