If all bolts are off take a screw driver and find a spot where you can pry the intake off the heads and block. The get pretty stuck to the gaskets and sealer after a while. Pry in as many spots as you can to distribute the pressure and lift it as evenly as possible.

The most likely suspect is the brake light switch. it is mounted to the brake pedal arm, near the top. It is held in place with a pin/clip,and a electrical connector plug. It can be checked for continuity with a ohm meter, or you can swap it out and hope for a good fix?
Look at either a Haynes book or Chilton book, try the library thye usually have the books. Most have the pictures that are basically the same for all rear drum type brakes.
Even though it's one blub, some have more then one filament that can go bad. And if you haven't tested the brake light switch yet, test at rear lights. If it works there, you know from that point forward all works. If not, then you jump to the brake switch and test there. This way you narrow down your problems little by little.
