The power distribution box is
located in the engine compartment.
The power distribution box contains
high-current fuses that protect your
vehicle’s main electrical systems
from overloads.
The starter relay is in position #56 of that box.

There is one for the 2003 Mercury Mountaineer. If you are smellign a "vinegar" odor, mix a solution of 1 part bleach to 3 parts water and pour it down the grid at the base of the windshield. It will take care of the smell.

LOCATION OF ORIFICE TUBE ON A 96 MERCURY VILLAGER 3.3L

The orifice is located in the small tube going in the firewall on the passenger side of the vehicle. You will need a special tool to unlock the tube to get to the orifice. Good idea to wear safety glasses when working on air conditioners. Good luck.

Where is the orifice tube located on a 1990 Mercury cougar ls

Orifice translates to, "opening" and is a modifying word. For example: nasal orifice is a nostril. I don't know the context you are using this term for but an orifice tube refers to a tube's opening. If oil, maybe the one that the dip stick goes in; transmission same thing, intake- the carburetor or filter passages. Hope this helps.

2006 nissan pathfinder a/c high pressure readings hitting 350 psi after a few minutes, already evac and recharged with exact amount of refrigerant?

ther is a blockage in the lines somehwere. usual suspect is the a/c orifice tube which is like a mini inline filter. Similar to the orifice in function would be a thermal expansion valve. both have small ports(orifice tube is a mini screen) that can become clogged with metal filings from the compressor as it wears and /or the dessicant material comming loose from the dryer bottle. if there is indeed blockage, the a/c lines will need to be flushed, dryer bottle replaced(recommended), a/c compressor replaced, and the orifice tube or expansion valve( whichever is on the vehicle) to be replaced. vaccumed to 28 inches of mercury and the recharged to proper charge.
