May be a vacuum leak or intake manifold gasket not sealing. Does it idle high ?

If you changed your self. Go back. And double check all you harness hoses. Etc. If the issue was not there before. It sould be there now. Un plug your battery. To have It re set. If It contin?es. Then take It to have code read.

The traction and ABS lights are on due to a problem with the ABS system. You will need the codes scanned to determine what the failure could be. ( speed sensor/wiring/etc ) If you are referring to the temperature guage reading low, have your thermostat checked for being stuck open.

Can you tell me the location of code reader 1991 capri ?

1991 is pre-OBD2. code readers will not work.
sorry.
however, all is not lost. Many cars have an alternate way of reading codes from the computer.
Toyota has a block under the hood and you short couple wires together and count engine light flashes
Chrysler you can turn the ignition key on and off a few times and count engine light flashes
in your case for GMs from 1982 to 1995
1: find the 12 pin connector under the dash and short the upper two rightmost terminals.
with the ignition "ON" and engine not running. The system will enter the diagnostic mode. In this mode, the computer will display a Code 12, three consecutive times, by flashing the "CHECK ENGINE", "SERVICE ENGINE SOON" or "MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LAMP" or light. A Code 12 consists of one flash, a short pause, then two flashes in rapid succession.
2:. After Code 12 is displayed, any stored trouble codes will be displayed by flashing the "CHECK ENGINE", "SERVICE ENGINE SOON" or "MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LAMP" light. All codes are displayed 3 times each then a code 12 will repeat. In the diagnostic mode, the computer will also energize all computer controlled relays and solenoids.

Codes p0171 p0303 p0325 car missing

p0171 = fuel system too lean, this means vacuum leak or faulty oxygen sensor

p0303 = cylinder 3 misfire

p0325 = knock sensor malfunction.

p0303 and p0325 - i can see these working together, if a cylinder misfires, it will cause the knock sensor to trip. I would lean towards the coil and or ignition module, along with a faulty oxygen sensor.

I recently had problems with my 2005 Mazda MPV stalling. I came to this great site and changed the IAC and it stopped stalling. But 2 days later my check engine light came on. The codes are P2197 P2195...

The descriptions for your codes are:
P2197 - H02S (RF) signal stuck lean
P2195 - H02S (RF) signal stuck lean
P2187 - Fuel System too lean at idle
P0102 - MAF circuit low input

Essentially what's happening is that your MPV is running too lean when at idle. Too much air and not enough fuel. As you speed up - it forces more air into the system which alleviates the problem.

Examine your mass airflow sensor. It should be completely clean - no fuzzies on it at all. If so - purchase some mass airflow sensor cleaner to clean the sensor. ONLY USE THE PROPER CLEANER TO AVOID DAMAGING THE SENSOR. Disconnect the battery to reset the system and turn off check engine light.

Otherwise you will need a scan tool to look at the voltages being supplied to/from the PCM for each of the Heated Oxygen Sensors and the Mass Airflow Sensor to determine which part is creating the problem.

What does error code p0172 and p0174?

P0172 - Fuel Injection System Too Rich Bank 1 Symptoms - Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
- Excessive Fuel Consumption
Possible causes - Intake air leaks
- Front Heated oxygen sensor may be faulty
- Injectors may be faulty
- Exhaust gas leaks
- Incorrect fuel pressure
- Lack of fuel
- Mass air flow sensor may be faulty
- Incorrect PCV hose connec
Possible solution Dirty air filter of faulty air flow sensor are common causes of the problem.

P0174 - Fuel Injection System Too Lean Bank 2 Symptoms - Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
- Excessive Fuel Consumption
Possible causes - Intake air leaks
- Front Heated oxygen sensor may be faulty
- Injectors may be faulty
- Exhaust gas leaks
- Incorrect fuel pressure
- Lack of fuel
- Mass air flow sensor may be faulty
- Incorrect PCV hose connection
Possible solution Dirty air filter of faulty air flow sensor are common causes of the problem. Bottom line possible defective Mass airflow sensor and or O2 sensor in cylinder bank number two.

My 2000 Ford Ranger keeps showing codes PO 171 and

These codes mean that the oxygen sensor is reading too "Lean" on both the left and right cylinder banks and the engine control system can't compensate any further to solve the problem. You may have a dirty or failing Mass Airflow Sensor that is miscalcuating the amount of airflow the engine is taking in which in turn can cause both of these codes to set. If the sensor is reporting less air than the engine is actually taking in then the engine computer will add only the amount of fuel it should based on what it was told by the sensor which will cause both cylinder banks to run "lean". There could be something else going on such as having two bad oxygen sensors [very rare] but I do see these two codes together quite often and usually its the sensor that is causing it. Hope this helps a bit!
