Dont no user servicable parts inside also before attempting any kind of work on a prius you must disconnect the high voltage battery at the service disconnect unless your a certified tech i would suggest paying someone who is trained to reapir that vehicle

  • Randy Ohler Jul 04, 2015

Not on the IP, Pat. Just 12 volts in there. Serviceable parts, there are lots of them in it. You just need to know how to take them out. And put them back it..

SOURCE: Toyota Prius 2008 - Transmission or or fluid?

Here is the answer that you are looking for: Never.
The auto trans fluid in a Prius is what we call "World Spec", and never needs to be changed. Why? Because the Prius trans fluid is not used for hydraulic pressure or cooling the ATF fluid due to the lack of the aforementioned hydraulic pressure. All that the ATF does is perform a "lubrication" function. As long as there is no contamination of the fluid (such as being in a flood), do not bother with it.

SOURCE: where can I find the fuse box that is supposed to be under the instrument panel on the driver side

You have to lay on your back under the steering wheel (pain!!) and get a flashlight ..... its under there. Just a STUPID location. (close to the plastic cover aroung the steering wheel shaft)

2011 Prius fuse box

The NHW20 Prius' 12v accessory outlets each have their own fuse in the
fuse box under the steering column. (Those fuses are sadly easy to
blow.) You'll either have to lay on the floor on the driver's side
and look up, or use a mirror, to see the fuse box location. You'll
have to pull off the panel door to see the fuses. The fuses are
marked in the diagram on the inside of this fuse box cover panel.

Where is the fog light switch located on prius 08

I'm assuming that you have the factory fog lights on a NHW20 (2004-2009) Prius. In the US 2004 Owner's Manual, it is listed in Section 2-4, "Operation of Instruments and Controls,""Lights, Wipers and Defogger,""Front Fog Lights,"
