My 2002 Chrysler town and country blower fan works when ignition is in accessory mode but when car is running there seems to be a great draw on the engine. Do you know what might be wrong?

If you're blower motor work's in asc. Mod motor is fine. It's more then likely you have a relay problem,Or someone has wired or jumped a wire that is drawing to much power.

In accessory mode you won't notice the high current draw because the alternator is out of the circuit and the engine is not running. With the engine running, you will see the excessive draw on the volt/amp gauge. If bad enough it will pull the idle RPM down a bit.

Your blower motor is bad or the wiring has deteriated to the point of causing a high current draw. A good auto tech (or knowledgeable friend with a DVOM and amp gauge) can diagnose the problem in 10 minutes.

Where is the rear heater core located on a 2002 town and country minivan?

hi,
Generally, in motor vehicles, the cabin air fans get the warm air from the same hot water/coolant circulating through the engine.
Surely, the leaking staff is antifreeze from the air blower heater element like a radiator. check the hoses in case of breaking and their joint in case of loose clamps.

Blower fan control problem

Check the wiring to the motor and resistor pack For the motor to run at full speed all the time indicates that there is uncontrolled voltage to it which means that there is a earth after the motor before the resistor. For the resistor to burn out .Well it requires fan air flow to keep it cool and with the ignition off it must still be getting current to it to earth. I am suspecting a faulty automatic control module. I suggest you have it check out for failure.
