How to change a 1999 Audi a6 alternator

Changing the alternator itself is the easiest of tasks on the A6. It's getting to it that is a problem.
Here is how.
Disconnect the headlight connections the remove the headlamps.
Disconnect the water hoses between engine and radiator.
Remove transmission cooler pipes from radiator. (You have to plug these somehow to prevent loss of ATF and dirt contamination)
Remove spot light covers from bumper. Look under there and you will see 2 alled bolts fixing the bumper to the chassis. Undo these.
Next remove the bumper bolts on the fenders whichn yo can only reach through the headlight holes.
Ease out the grille and disconnect any wiring that could be strained especially the one on the radiator lower hose.
Pull the right side of tf the bumper out more to see the alternator. You do not have to remove air con pipes, just un-hook any hangers.
You need a 17mm socket and power bar to remove the serpentine belt then you undo the 2 bolts attaching alternator to motor and the 2 elecric cables to the alternator.

How can i open my gas tank if my gas lever release 1993 lexus fell off

In a pinch use a coat hanger. Open the coat hanger so that it is one long piece of metal and cover one end with black tape to protect your paint. place it so that it hooks the tank cover. Push the button to open the tank cover while gently pulling on the coat hanger. Voila

I live in Pretoria, i'm looking for the rear shocks and the rear left hand side bumper. where can i buy this spares?

Shocks you can get at any spares place, watch places like Supaquick and Speedy's, they have specials from time to time, two for the price of one type of thing. Midas and Autozone also do specials and advertise in their pamphlets. Sonny's in Actonville, Benoni are also pretty cheap. There are are places all over Gauteng that repair bumpers, try them or use the yellow pages and phone around the scrap yards. Last resort unfortunately is the agents but that will probably cost you lots of Rands.
