Where is the emergency flasher relay for 1993 Buick Century?

I have found the relay for turn signals, which work fine, but can't find the one for the emergency flashers. A picture or diagram would be great and let me know if it looks the same as the turn signal relay. Thanks.

Check to make sure there is a relay for the hazard lights as normally the switch just connects the 4 flashers and works thought the indicator flasher unit.

I finally found a new relay, but it didn't fix the hazard lights. But thanks for the info. I was getting dizzy standing on my head, looking for the other relay! I guess the next step is wiring?

Signal light flasher location

The turn signal flasher and the emergency flasher on most cars are located in the same area. Turn on the emergency flasher and find the sound......the turn signal flasher should be in the same area.

We have a buick lesabre 1993. The blinkers quit working. The emergency flashers and all lights work. What could be the problem?

There should be two flasher relays. The one for the turn signals probably is bad.The easiest way to find it would be to turn on the hazards and listen to where the clicking is coming from.Track that down and the other flasher is usually next to it or within a few inches of it. As long as the hazard flasher is working you can remove that one and put it in the turn signal one just to verify that is the issue. If that corrects the issue you will need to purchase a flasher relay.

2001 Buick Century turn signals do not work. Fuse is good. Brake lights work. Where is the relay?

No relay,if they don't come on at all,bet on the turn signal switch,if they come on and don't flash,it's the flasher.
Make sure the emergency flashers aren't on.(if the 4 way flasher is bad and the button is pushed ,it will kill the signals)

Blinkers wont work.all my lights turn on flashers work just no turn signals only front side markers what can it be?

This vehicle should have 2 flasher relays one that operates the emergency flashers and one operating the turn signals.Easiest way to locate these would be to turn the emergency flashers on and listen to where the clicking is coming from usually the flasher are pretty close to each other.Once you find the flasher unit you can swap the flasher unit that is working with the one that is not and if the turn signals work after that you will need to purchase another flasher relay.

Turn signals and 4-way flashers do not work - 1997 Buick Century

Time to change the flasher unit, it's usually close to the drivers side of vehicle and behind a fuse box access panel and will have something like "12v 23/98W " on it. It's a largish cube shaped componant and may be water damaged !

My blinkers sometimes dont work? looked at the fuse and it seemed okay but i replaced it anyway..seemed to work fine for a couple months now its doing it again...could it be an electrical problem or turn...

Try replacing the Flasher Relay. It has 2 relays, one for the turn signals and one for the hazard lights. The one for the turn signals is located Front seating area, driver side, under dash, behind instrument panel, mounted on passenger side of steering column.
The hazard flasher is located Front seating area, driver side, under dash, above kick panel, mounted in top of convenience panel.
Replace the Turn signal flasher.

Turn signal comes on,but doesn't blink;all 4 hazards work.

Check near the fuse box and the left side under the dash. There are two flasers in a car, one for the hazards and one for the turn signals. You are on the right track for if the hazards are working the bulbs and wiring to the bulbs are eliminated. Once you replace the flasher your problem should be fixed. When checking for the flasher remember they sometimes are clipped or taped up, so feel around as well as looking.

93 buick century -turn signals

The Buick Century uses separate relays for the hazard warning and turn signal functions. The turn signal relay is located on the accelerator pedal bracket, and the 4-way flasher relay is located on the convenience center near the left kick panel. Try switching these two relays with one another to see if your turn signals work instead of your 4-ways.
