BCM module controls lights. Check fuses 13 and 34 in the underhood fuse box as they send power to the instrument display.
Under the hood 13 is windows and 34 is nothing
Ok. Wiring diagram sucked. I will look at another diagram.

SOURCE: 98 jeep tj, dash light/taillights/licence plate light don't work
disconnect head lights, and replace fuse. Then turn the light back on to see if it blow a fuse again. if not, plug on light in at a time. You might have a bad headlight???? then unplug that one if nothing happens. Then plug the other one in. It could also be a bad taillight bulb. I have had bad tail light bulbs. Do all of them, one at a time.
SOURCE: 2005 jeep liberty brake lights will not work. I
brake pedal switch, get a wire, unplug plug, bridge circuit and check lights.
plug and switch is high up on the brake pedal not normally easy to get to.
SOURCE: 2002 jeep liberty - limited - electrical problem
Just found 2002 Liberty problem with lights and back tailgate door latch and interior lights and radio. Had them working off and on and then blowing Fuse # 34 off and on. Thought maybe BCM control module stuff. Turned out to be Drivers side Visor wiring crimped through and shorted out at the were it is attached to the ceiling.
Totally cut through. If you remove visor screws chech the wiring there. So far everything is up and running.
SOURCE: I am getting an ESP ABS warning light on my 06
Those lights mean that one of the sensors for the abs/stability system is not working properly. Take the truck to have the computer scanned to find out which one.
