The 1.5 engine uses a distributor and plug wires, the 1.8 engine uses a coil on each plug.
Number two would be the second over from the timing belt.

Can I please see a diagram of spark plug leads attached to the coil pack

Here is a diagram showing the spark plug leads attached to a coil pack:

Ignition coil
Spark plug lead
Spark plug
In this diagram, the ignition coil is at the center and is connected to the spark plug leads, which are in turn connected to the spark plugs. The spark plugs are located at the end of each spark plug lead and are responsible for igniting the fuel in the engine's cylinders.

In a typical engine, there will be one ignition coil for each cylinder, and the spark plugs will be connected to the ignition coils through the spark plug leads. The ignition coil generates a high voltage electrical current, which is transmitted through the spark plug leads to the spark plugs. The spark plugs then use this electrical current to create a spark, which ignites the fuel in the engine's cylinders and powers the vehicle.

Plugs and wires 2005 mercury sable

What engine do you have, I will assume a DOHC V6, the DOHC V6 doesn't have spark plug wires, each spark plug (located under the igntion coil) has its own separate ignition coil, it is called direct ignition. You unbolt the coil and remove it with the attached spark plug boot and then you remove the spark plug from the cylinder and replace, do one at a time.

Where can I find the spark plugs

There are individual coil packs for each cylinder. They are held in place by a single 10mm nut. Remove the nut and lift the coil pack up. You may have to wiggle it around a bit and pull hard. The spark plug is located in the hole you just removed the coil pack from. The spark plug boot is attached to the coil pack.

Where are the spark plugs located on a 2006 pacifica 24 valve 3.5 l

HI. Your spark plugs are located and inserted into each cylinder location, just under the respective ignition coil. This engine is designed for a Coil on Plug setup. The ignition coils are attached to each plug in the engine. Once you have removed each plugs respective coil, which is located directly on top of each plug, Then will you notice the plug. When removing the front plugs, be sure to remove the intake manifold to gain full access.

NOTE- Always remove the ignition coil assembly by grasping at the spark plug boot, turning the assembly 1/2 turn and pulling straight back in a steady motion. Only then will you gain access to the plug that is placed in that particular cylinder.

Change spark plugs 4.7

To replace the spark plugs on the 4.7 engine, you have to remove your air cleaner box to get access to all of the spark plugs and coils, located on the top of the engine.

There's an individual coil attached to each spark plug. (8 plugs, 8 coils). To access the plugs, you need to remove the nut that is holding the coil in place. After the nut is removed, you simply pull the coil up and out of the engine. After the coil is removed, you can see the plug below. Remove the spark plug with a socket wrench. Gap and install the new plug, re-attach the coil and retaining nut. Repeat 7 more times.

Don't forget to reattach the air cleaner box!

Where is the coil pack located under the hood

Follow the spark plug wires away from the spark plugs. The coil packs are on top of the ignition module. The coil packs have two terminals each and will have two spark plug wires attached to each coil pack. There are 3 coil packs and I would recommend replacing all three at once. They are bolted down to the ignition module bracket with a total of 6 small screws. Two per coil pack. Remove the small screws and the electrical connectors and the plug wires. Dont forget to mark the wires so you can replace them as you found them. Installation is just the opposite of removal.

Do not know where spark plugs are located in motor

the spark plugs wires are directly located on top of the engine and the spark plugs are down inside the holes in the valve cover itself. I believe there are also 2 coils on top of the engine, which hide two of the spark plug wires which are attached directly to the underside of each coil, remove the coil pull it upward carefully and you will find the spark plugs for those two in the hole underneath the coil for each one. If you decide to replace the plugs, make sure to check the spark plug gap even if they tell you they are pre-gapped as pre-gapped spark plugs are usually gapped for more than one particular car and it may be incorrectly gapped for your specific vehicle. If you decide to also replace the spark plug wires, you will have to purchase the spark plug wires for the underside of each coil seperately because most local auto parts stores only sell 2 spark plug wires in the set that go onto the non-coil attached wires and plugs, and you have to purchase the coil spark plug wires seperately. So all in all you should have 4 spark plug wires, 2 that attach directly underneath the 2 coils, then 2 regular type wires that run to the other spark plugs. If you look at the valve cover and see the wires, you will see what i am saying better. Just don't forget to ask the autoparts store the spark plug gap recommended for you car, and adjust the gap on the plugs as needed. good luck.
