You have put a lot of question marks there - I suspect that most of them are not questions, but what you have done.
If you have drilled out a cylinder, the whole lock is ruined: you will need a complete unit. Unfortunately, it is doubtful that you will be able to buy one that your present key fits. This means you will need your present key for the ignition aand doors and another ket for the trunk. The best place to find a replacement is a wrecker's yard - but make sure you get the key!. Locks and keys are expensive.
The reason the trunk switch will not open the trunk, is probably that the fuse has blown: fuses are under a dollar... You should have tried that first...
But what caused the fuse to blow if indeed it did? It could just be bad connections or a break in the wire somewhere between the switch (including a bad switch) back to the trunk lock solenoid. Could also be the solenoid itself. check solenoid with 12vdc power direct to the solenoid spade positive connection

Yep...you are gonna have to do this all from the trunk and yes remove the plastic cover.....you may be able to use needle nose to grab and pull on the cable to pop it open.
Using your keyless entry on the keypad, press the 5 digit code to get into the door and press the 6 key immediately after. Lincoln has several codes in addition to the 5 digit keyless entry like pressing the 3 to open all the doors, the 6 for the trunk and pressing the last 2 buttons at the same time to lock the doors.

Isn't there botton somewere on the door or left lower conner of dashboard to open trank remotely?

The solution is to pull out the back seat to get into the trunk. There are two bolts holding the bottom part of back seat (bolts located between bottom and top sections). Then pull out bottom section of back seat and you see the hinge for the top section, remove the bolts and then you can lift up and access the trunk. It's not that hard.

If you hear the sound of the electric latch switch, then it's working but stuck somehow. Just put the key in the switch and turn it to the right and then pull up the trunk or ask someone to help you. it will open. I tried it today and it opened with me. It was stuck from inside by some kind of a broken plastic pieces. Just removed it and now it's working fine. good luck

The switch to my trunk has not been working for a while now. I'm blonde but would have thought of that first. My brother drilled it. Thinking he could get in with screwdriver? I know? I need to find someone that has lock to fir. Been checking junk yards
