SOURCE: 2006 Pontiac Montana wont start after replacing

Sounds like your starter solenoid is stuck in the on position if you can get down there and have some one hook the battery on, hit the starter with a hammer some time this will disengage the starter.

no that is only the older rear calipers on gm and others. the fronts do not have that style caliper and sound like the calipers are frozen and may be way your changing the pads. try opening the bleeder screw and then compressing them if they go then you need need brake hoses and if not you need calipers. god luck man

SOURCE: 2001 Pontiac Montana - what is a misfire #5?

Without your actual trouble code, I am assuming that you are have a misfire on cylinder # 5. The computer cannot really tell what is causing the misfire only that cyl 5 is not putting out full power. If it misfires when cold then smooths out as it warms up, I would say it is probably an injector that is sticky, as it warms up it starts working properly.

Testimonial: "Thank you for your suggestion. I will have that checked out. I will also ask my mechanic what the actual trouble code says."

The battery died in my van. I replaced the battery. When I start it to warm up it starts o.k but as its running you can here it sputter like its going to stall out. when I drive it it loses power and...

This may be caused by the idle air control sticking.
BTW, warming up a modern vehicle for the sake of the engine is not good; driving it off gently will bring it up to operating temperature more quickly and reduce wasted fuel. The engine just shouldn't be operated at high revs right away.
