Removal and Installation
- Position the seats as needed to remove the console.
- Disconnect the battery. For additional information, refer to Section 414-01 .
- Remove the floor console storage bin.
- Remove the 3 screws and the armrest.
- Remove the floor console storage bin screw.
- Remove the pin-type retainer.
- Disonnect the electrical connectors.
- Remove the floor console front finish panel.
- Pull upward from the front of the trim panel to release the retainers.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Remove the floor console center finish panel.
- If necessary, remove the 2 screws and the floor console cup holder.
- Remove the 2 floor console front screws.
- Remove the 3 floor console rear screws.
- To install, tighten to 4 Nm (35 lb-in).
- NOTE: Lift the console from the rear and slide it rearward to release the rear seat heater ducts from the instrument panel. Remove the nut and the floor console.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in ).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
