You need to likely replace the Idle speed control valve (not a sensor, it is an actuator). But stop guessing and throwing away money on unneeded parts!
the idle control motor may be worn tu--clean that area- is probly filthy--run a scan using at a partstore for free for any codes-TPS sensors are cheap-mite wanna replace-cud b gittn old--vacuum leak may be somewhere tu
well, since you have already checked many options, one other thing that could cause a problem like that is the idle control valve,
pvc valve, throttle control sensor, and even the EGR valve, but a diagnostics check-up should tell you more efficiently what the problem is.
I'm assuming you mean a coolant temp sensor. The sensor tells the computer what the coolant temp is. Normally when a sensor fails the check engine light comes on to warn the driver. Normally but not always. One thing that could affect both problems you describe is the idle air control valve. If the valve fails or sticks, the engine can stall or have a high idle speed. The computer controls idle speed by how much air is allowed into the throttle body. The throttle body could also be very dirty.
LOW IDLE CAN BE CAUSED BY MANY THINGS.CLOGGED AIR FILTER. LOW COMPRESSION OR MISFIRE CONDITION.IDLE AIR INLET PASSAGE OR THROTTLE BORE IS DIRTY OR FULL OF DEPOSITS.IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE FAILED.MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR COULD BE OUT OF CALIBRATION. THROTTLE PLATE THROTTLE SHAFT OR LINKAGE IS DAMAGED OR STICKING.PROBABLY HAVE REMOVE THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY REMOVE IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE AND THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR.BUY CAN OF CARBURETOR OR THROTTLE BODY CLEANER SPRAY CLEAN ALL CARBON BUILT UP AROUND THROTTLE PLATES AND BORE.LET AIR DRY BUY A NEW THROTTLE BODY GASKET.
