Expensive. Depending on whether it's just the air pump (usually) or solenoid valves, couple to several hundred bucks. Others can fix this, but need salvage or ebay parts.

pull the error codes and investigate what they indicate.
SOURCE: check engine light is on. code reads p0410
Your car uses an air pump, usually driven by the serpentine belt, to add air to the exhaust manifold to help burn any gas left in the exhaust ahead of the catalytic converter. This code is telling us there is something wrong with the valve or solenoid that controls the airflow into the manifold. I don't have details on how to troubleshoot those components, but a good scan tool may be able to do it.

There are two solenoids for this system. One is located near the firewall on the passenger side, the other on the driver's side near the radiator. There is a small vacuum line going to each one. Remove this line and connect up another piece of vacuum line and see if you can **** air to pull a vacuum. These parts go bad often. You should not be able to get any air when sucking on the line.
BTW, these parts are about $200.00/ea. Most people just live with the codes because it really only effects emmisions when the engine is cold and it first starts.
If these are good, there is a blower motor located in front of the driver's side front tire. Removing the plastic wheel well liner gets good visibility to it. Make sue the motor/fuse/etc is working. (Although I never hear mine run and I don't have any codes.)

Code PO410 can be caused by wiring, air valve, air solenoid or the ECM.
