Check to make sure you have a good ground. From there, you need a circuit tester light w/probe to trace back. Look for a broken wire.
Good Luck.

Chevy 2001 Blazer two side Brake lights do not light up. When I step on the brake. I change all four bulbs and checked the fusses. All are fine and good.

it sounds like you may have a bad relay, they are located under the hood on both fenders and are clearly marked

2002 Chevy Malibu. Left side brake lights not working. Brake lights come on when car is started, so I know that (new) bulbs are fine. Any ideas? Right side lights are fine.

the socket (or board) that the bulbs are on are known to go bad. its actually a common repair. the lights coming on when vehicle is running is just a parking light not the brake light. you either installed the wrong bulb(needs to be a double filament) or the board is no good. Good luck

As for the horn, inspect the fuse and relay and most common it would be a bad ground wire or worst a bad horn due to corrosion. Horn will be located in the drivers side fender.
Thank you for using fixya.

I cant find where my brake light fuses are for my 03 chevy silverado. the left brake light is out and the bulb is fine, but I dont know where the brake light fuse is.

If your right side brake light is working then it won't be a brake fuse as all brake lights are on the same circuit. Check the wiring harness connection for the left side.

My taillights and brakelights dont work on a 1997 chevy blazer s 10. cant find all the fuses?

in most cases the stop + tail lights are on the fuse circut .
as for the location of the fuse box i don't know what or where the fuses
you found are some fuses are found under the hood on top of the left fender well but rarely any light fuses your best bet is the owners manual
if not check the drivers side kick panel if its behind there it will be marked if not the lower dash may have removeable panel about 4"wide
also marked or the firewall with a black plastic cover or under the dash
facing down with or without cover
