Windshield wipers are not workiing

you need to test the The wiper directly by sending power to the positive negative wires and bypass the switch and fuse just in case it's either of them you should be able to find those wires right at the motor that you were replacing additionally sometimes the linkage can be all Frozen and jammed up are you sure it's not the linkage it's causing it not to work

you can use a 12 volt hot and ground wire set right fro the battery connect correctly to each on wiper motor

How to replace a 99 se Bonneville windshield wiper motor

Windshield wiper motors are generally easy to replace. You need to remove the windshield wipers and take off the small grill panel above the hood and under the windshield. You should see the motor in there. It simply unbolts and unplug the electrical connector and replace it with a new one.

Windshield wipers travel way to far on our 2001 subaru outback stationwagon. How do I shorten up the travel ?

I have the same problem with a 2001 Legacy wagon. The problem is not as simple as the solutions above. Mine are adjusted to park as low as possible when turned off. Even so, the blade on the drivers side goes all the way off the windshield. The Subaru dealer wants to replace the whole wiper blade transmission for about $450. Looking online it seems to be interconnecting arms and pivot points that connect the motor to the wiper blade arms.
