There is NO INERTIA SWITCH on your vehicle.
The only thing to check is FUSE #1, which is a 20A fuse that provides power to your EFI control. If that is good, check for voltage at the fuel pump when the vehicle is turned on. If it has power to the fuel pump but the fuel pump is not running, replace the fuel pump.

You need the code. The code is specific to your radio, and no one can tell you that specific code. Do not try any codes until you have the correct one or you will lock the radio. Look long and hard throughout your owner's manual and all other manuals you have with the car. If you cannot find the code then contact the dealer that sold the car originally. They may have the code stored in their database. You can also go to any Lexus dealership and they can tell you the code with the VIN # off the car. Other than that I know of no way to get the code unless you remove the radio and write down the serial #. With that number many sites will sell you the code. But you are better off to pay a Lexus dealer to give you the code, and they just might do it for free if you ask nicely.
SOURCE: hi i got a lexus LS 400 1998 and my starter die
the starter is located in the valley under the intake manifold. you must remove the intake to access the starter. its a pretty involved job. when reassembling take your time and make sure that every wire is plugged in and every vacum line is connected.
