Hi irvj6ohn: The 1993 and 1994 XJ6 Fuel Pump Relay is located in the trunk of the vehicle on the right hand rear side. It is light blue and black in color. I hope this helps.
I can't find anything on it other than it is an inline filter so I would start the search under the frame usually on the passenger side, look inside the frame for the gas line and follow it and it will look like a bulb. Also to rule out the pump you can pull the gas line at the fuel rail and have somebody turn the key on (careful it will come out quick) if it comes out in a good stream then pull the fuel rail and have somebody turn it over(again it will spray gas out so be carefull) and see if all the injectors are spraying. Try these and see if you find anything let me know.
